IATT awarded the “Research & Development” Prizes to associated companies that have distinguished themselves for having contributed to the realization of innovative projects to raise the technological level of their reference sector.

For the experience, the high professional skills and the research of innovative design solutions demonstrated with the realization of the “Project Mose” occurred, despite the many critical issues encountered, all brilliantly overcome, such as: the prohibitive logistical conditions, the high value landscaping of the area to be protected and finally the need not to interfere with the usual activities of residents, boats and the Navy.
“The Micro Tunnel that connects past and future”
For having confirmed itself as a leader in the field of microtunnelling contributing to the realization of the project “Metropolitan Rome – Construction Metro C” in full respect of an area of very high archaeological value.
“Application of Innovative Materials”
For allowing the recovery of the water flows of the supply pipe to the Serle city tank as well as further raising the technical standard of the recovery sector with the use of a highly innovative material proposing, in fact, to the market a technically valid solution and economically advantageous, to the problem of extreme relevance, of the significant losses that characterizes the national water system.
For having raised the technological standards of the TLC broadband networks sector with the creation of the underwater cable with the highest density of fibers, fully capturing the ever increasing challenges of technological innovation coming from the global market.
“Innovation on minitrench applications”
For having conducted with the University of Perugia, a research stating to the definition of a series of highly innovative practical and operational features which optimize minitrench utilization and promote its diffusion.
For having exported abroad one of the pillar of IATT’s philosophy: a safe and conscious management of underground networks can not be separated from a correct and timely mapping of same infrastructures.
